Statement

"Financial Times" is a reaction to the normalization of violence. When drone pilots are portrayed as glamorous while the act of killing is stripped off its human reality, empathy disappears. These works interrupt the polished, emotionally detached, and deeply dehumanized language through which violence is made to feel normal.
